The reality fizzed and reappeared around her her. Talion had begun to unleash his berserker, when Bram once again took control. Another Talion appeared, this one stabbing her, slowly. She knew it was fake. But she felt the pain, the blood. Blythe screamed again as she sank to her knees, her head swimming. Did she really deserve this? Was what she did this bad? Bram scarily seemed to enjoy this pain, this fear. It ebbed from her, clogging the air between them and she was faintly aware of her beloved dog, whining somewhere at her side. She let out a moan and in a desperate act, allowed Bram to feel what she did in that moment. Choking guilt, hurt, searing pain, sorrow.

Talion stopped in his tracks as Bram took control of his reality, and his sword arm lowered. What was happening to him? He had the faintest idea he had to get to Blythe, but for now, Talion was incapacitated.

Bram jolted at the sudden influx of emotion. This time, Blythe wasn't trying to hide the fact that she was using her abilities, and he could tell this was what she was feeling. He tried to push it away, to not feel it, but that was impossible. The feelings were so intense that he was forced to drop the illusion surrounding Blythe; the pain stopped and the fake Talion disappeared, relieving Bram of the pain as well, if not the guilt and sorrow she was feeling. But that part didn't matter to him, whether or not she was sorry for what she had done, and he was less affected by it.
He looked to her with darkness in his eyes. "You'll pay for this, Blythe." His gaze flickered back to Talion for a moment. In Talion's present reality, he was still being drowned, slammed down over and over again by waves. Bram pulled himself back onto his horse and dug his heels into the animal's sides, sending it cantering off back the way he had come. The effects on Talion would end eventually as Bram drew further away, but there would be several long minutes during which he was still incapacitated.

How had she not seen this inside of him before? This darkness? This shadow? Blythe didn't get up, Sashka snarling at her side until Bram left. The noises turned to a low whining as Blythe looked over to poor Talion, who she'd gotten into this mess now. Perfect. She swallowed and raised a shaky hand, giving a gentle wave with a hoarse, "I'm sorry. So sorry." She dispelled his panic, his anger, willing him to calm down. It would help with the effects of Bram's magic, soothe it quicker than anger and violent reactions would. She tried to measure her breathing, though she was embarrassed at being so shook up still.

Talion was left gasping for air as Bram's illusion held until the man faded away, and Talion dropped to his knees, panting. Blythe's magic helped sooth him, and it only took Talion a few moments to recover. When he did, he looked up at Blythe, his eyes a mix of emotions. This had gone about as poorly as he would have guessed. "That's the end of it, then." He said flatly, his voice hoarse. He rose to his feet, sheathing his sword. He didn't know what to say to her after that. She'd caused a huge mess, but broken hearts always healed. Bram would get over it, and so would Blythe. "I hoped you learned something today, Blythe. You can't make people love you."
