Althea silently made her way down the market street, smiling softly at the people she passed. She nodded her head in greeting to a few of the civilians and held the small woven basket in her right hand close to her form, pulling it under her cloak slightly. She knew not all of the villagers were as kind as others and wanted to make sure she didn’t lose any of the medicinal herbs she had to deliver today. Some of the herbs were going to a few villagers she had cared for not too long ago, others were being brought to those that she knew needed medicine but could not afford it, and some she was hoping to sell. She let a sigh slip from her lips; she felt an ache inside at the thought of having to sell some of her herbs although she tried to price it according to the person she was selling it to, but unfortunately food and other items she needed cost money. She shook her head as if to rid herself of her thoughts as she tried to focus on her first task to do her deliveries then she would worry about selling her herbs.
As she walked down the path, her cloak seemed to part more than slightly due to her pace exposing the handle to her basket. While she made her way towards her first destination she didn’t notice a young teen walking towards her until it was too late. The boy soon pumped into her right side causing her to loose her grip on the basket, a small gasp of surprise escaping her lips. As she lost her grip on the basket, the boy’s hand took hold of the basket handle and quickly ran the other direction. “Hey! Wait!” She called after the boy as she turned and tried to catch up with him as she continued to call after him, “Please stop!”

Talion was off-duty, wandering down the market streets, lost in thought. Blythe was on his mind. He hadn't seen or heard from her in some time, which was concerning. Bram was starting to behave more and more erratically, and he feared that if the two mages weren't able to work it out, trouble would brew on the horizon. As he was lost in thought, studying a bouquet of flowers, he heard the cry for help and immediately tensed. His keen eyes quickly sought out the little thieves and it wasn't hard for the experienced general to wind a path to cut off their escape. He stepped out into their paths and they ran into him, knocked back by his height and solid build. "I'll take that," he growled and snatched the basket from the hands of the boy, giving the dirt a kick in their direction. They scrambled off, and Talion's gaze sought out the owner of the basket he had rescued.

Althea hurried after the thieves, only to skid to a halt at the sight of a larger man. Her hazel eyes blinked in surprise as the man stopped the boy and took her basket back from him, her brows furrowing a bit as he gave the dirt a kick in the boy’s direction. She watched silently as the boy scrambled away and let out a soft sigh, her head shaking slightly back and forth. If the boy would have asked she would have tried to acquire whatever the boy needed, though then again he could have been possible looking for something easy to steal then turn around and sell. Once the kid was gone Althea made her way over to the man.
“Thank you good sir,” She stated with a small smile on her lips as she approached the man and let her eyes scan over his form curiously before she glanced in the direction the boy ran off to and continued, “I’m not sure what I would have done if I had to show up to my patients’ homes without these herbs to help them. I hope the boy wasn’t taking them for himself, I would have offered to harvest some new herbs for him if he had only asked.” She let her gaze return to the man then carefully took her basket from him and pulled it back under her cloak as she took a step back from his form. “My name is Althea,” She introduced and let her smile brighten a bit as she continued, “may I ask the name of the man I am to show my gratitude?”

Talion focused on Althea, bowing slightly to her as she approached and introduced herself. "Most likely they didn't know what you were carrying, but they were keen to try to snatch whatever they could." Talion noted, not thinking for a second that those children needed the herbs she'd been carrying. "My name is Talion. So, you are a healer then?" He mused, then offered her his arm. "Let me escort you on your route, to ensure your safety."
