Allegra looked like a blonde goddess. Her pale, almost white hair was tied into two long braids, stray strands blowing gently in the breeze. It glowed in the moonlight, the moon being nearly full. She was dressed in a long, cape-like top with armored shoulder pads, with high waisted leather pants tucked into hunting boots. In her delicate hands, she held a powerful hunting bow. Her dark blue eyes glimmered like they held the stars themselves- Allegra, by day a beautiful courtesan, was a huntress by night. But she wasn't just hunting anything- her personal guards had found prey for her a few days prior. They'd been tracking her since- a half-fae with distinct pink hair. It had been so long, far too long, since Allegra had been able to sate her lust for the chase. And her victim had no idea she was in danger. Allegra slipped among the trees on silent feet, creeping closer to her target. She was due to renew her membership with the powerful group she belonged to- a powerful creature like Lyra would surely earn her that and more. As Lyra came into view, Allegra quietly notched an arrow tipped with a paralytic agent, drawing back with a practiced, even pull of her arms. The bow, after years of training, felt like nothing in her hands. She took a breath, and loosed her bow with precision.

The moon growing full was a powerful time for fairy-kind. And while Lyra was not full fae, she still felt her magic swell with the moon. Every animal near her, she felt. She could hear their thoughts, finely tuned to them. And nights like these, Lyra liked to meditate, to connect with the earth. The small, dainty woman with pale pink hair was seated on a rock, soaking up the rays from the moon as they trickled through the treetops. Her eyes were closed but her senses were heightened- as Allegra drew her arrow and loosed, Lyra felt the tension and ducked just in time. The arrow whizzed past her head and she jumped to her feet, nimble and fast. A part of her fairy heritage. "Who's there?" she called into the woods, her eyes scouring the darkness, fear beating in her chest. She reached out to the forest around her, drawing a nearby bear to her aid. The creature lumbered into view, agitated.

Allegra cursed as Lyra's senses alerted her to her presence, and she felt her adrenaline race as the bear lumbered into view. Interesting. She wondered what magic the woman possessed, and it would be tough to control it within the confines of the Paragon's walls. Instead of answering Lyra's question, Allegra notched three arrows against her bow. She drew and loosed, hitting the bear in the neck with easy. The thing went down with a grunt, staggering a few steps. The paralytic elixir was potent. She finally stepped into view, grinning with teeth that flashed pearly white in the moonlight. "Don't run, my dear. I don't want to kill you."

As her protector went down, Lyra gasped softly, taking a step back. "Please don't hurt me!" She begged, and as Allegra stepped into the light, Lyra could have sworn she was gazing upon an angel. The half-fae turned and fled, running through the forest on sure feet. She was blessed with natural agility and speed, though her legs were short and couldn't carry her as far as quickly as she would have liked. Her heart raced as she called to her animals for help- owls began to dive down from the trees, swiping at Allegra.

Allegra grinned as the girl ran, and shot off in pursuit. She wasn't prepared for the owls, however, and as they swooped down upon her, one clawed it's talons across her cheek. She gasped at the sting, feeling the hotness of her blood ooze from the wound. She ducked into some thick brush to keep the owls at bay, and tapped into her ability to read Lyra's thoughts. She could see, know, exactly where Lyra was going before the girl set her feet down. She could feel her fear, hear her questions reverberating around her mind. Allegra was an angel- and to many, she was an angel of death. She broke away from Lyra's trail, trusting the girl's thoughts to lead her where she needed to be. She took a short cut through the brush and skidded to a halt as Lyra came into view. Her arrow was already strung on her bow, and she loosed the moment Lyra was in range.

Lyra gasped as she broke through the trees, only to find the angel before her. "Please don't-" she started to say as the arrow hit her square in the chest. She took a half step, and immediately crumpled. Lyra was small, so it didn't take much of the paralytic to have an effect. She felt it seizing her limbs, but her mind lay away, terrified. Her eyes followed Allegra's movements and she struggled to speak, but found even her mouth would not obey her. What did this woman want?

"I just want you, my little fairy." Allegra soothed, hearing her thoughts. She stooped, gently running her fingers through Lyra's hair. What a delicate little creature. With a fluid movement, Allegra picked up her prize, slinging her over her shoulder. The noble was surprisingly strong and lithe, considering most only saw her as a courtesan. Lyra's size made it easy, however. Without another word, Allegra strode into the night, carrying Lyra to the holding cells of the Paragon.
