"Of course, my lady. I do rounds through the kingdom all the time. It would be my pleasure to have you accompany me," Talion offered her a smile. He could tell he had confused her by withdrawing his arm. It wasn't her fault- Talion liked to keep to himself. Especially around women, Talion was wary. The memory of his deceased wife was with him always- finding someone knew would dishonor her memory. So he acted like a married man, though he was in fact a widower.

Isolde’s small smile grew into a bright smile as she beamed happily at his response, a bit surprised. She looked back towards Talion and opened her mouth to quickly respond but stopped herself from blurting out again, straightening her posture as she caught herself. She cleared her throat in hopes of gathering herself but is unsuccessful as her cheeks turned a tint of pink and she spoke with a hint of glee in her voice, “Thank you Talion, I really appreciate you allowing me to accompany you. It would be an honor to have you as an escort. Would it be okay if I joined you later tonight? It would be best for me to go with you when my parents are busy or asleep.”

"Of course, my lady." Talion smiled, pleased to be of service to her. "It would be my pleasure to take you into the city, with your parent's permission, of course. You may tell them I'm the commander general of the army, and that I would do my utmost to keep you safe."

Isolde wrinkled her nose at the mention of getting her parents permission and looked away from Talion. She slowly nodded her head as if in understanding and looked up at the commander general once more with a soft smile on her lips. “Yes sir, I shall make sure to get their permission before joining you,” She told him with slight tension hidden in her voice. She would speak to her parents of how she spoke with Talion today but she had no intentions of out right asking them to allow her to go with him. She knew they wouldn’t allow it without them there as well. Isolde then curtsied to the man as she did when they introduced themselves to one another and spoke happily before she turned to leave, “I look forward to joining you, thank you again Talion. I will make sure to meet you at the entrance to the castle.”
